I offer an open, honest, non-judgmental approach, which allows expression and exploration. As a qualified counsellor, I am a registered Member of BACP. As your counsellor I will listen and help you to understand how past experiences, concerns, your thoughts and feelings may affect your life. Working together we can reflect and explore how you respond to events in your life and begin to explore the way that you relate to others and yourself. As your counsellor I will be compassionate, empathic and dedicated in supporting you to make changes and at the same time accept and value yourself.
I am known for my strong commitment and dedication in helping my clients to reach their full potential. I will bring my personal humanity to my practice which reflects qualities of compassion; empathy; non-judgment, congruent, courage; integrity and emotional resilience and trust in people's potential, to heal and create new realities.
I attend regularly supervision and professional training/workshops as part of my continuous professional development and growth as a qualified practitioner.
The key element of having counselling, is being able to safely share your difficult feelings, emotions and thoughts, where the skilled and knowledgeable counsellor listens in such a way that encourages you to explore the meaning behind your experiences, so that you may develop a better understanding of yourself and your life and feel more in control to make positive decisions.
