Hello, I’m Natasha, a BACP registered person-centred counsellor.

Hello, I’m Natasha, a BACP registered person-centred counsellor.
I work with adults, teenagers and young people struggling with anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, self -harm and suicidal thoughts, and I understand that seeking help can often be difficult. Speaking to a counsellor online can often feel less overwhelming to younger people who have had a lot of their lives restricted due to the pandemic and the rise of social media as a way of connecting.
I also have experience working with people going through bereavement, grief and other losses such as relationship breakdowns, miscarriage and baby loss, and I understand the devastating impact these things can have on your whole being and identity. Sometimes a loss can suddenly bring up other unresolved trauma or emotional issues.
Sometimes you might just feel ‘stuck’ on a particular issue or find yourself preoccupied with racing thoughts and internal conversations which prevent you from enjoying life and reaching your full potential. Sometimes you just need to vent to someone who has no connection to your life, without the fear of feeling judged. Someone who will hear you and sit with you while you try to make sense of the jumbled thoughts and feelings.
I can offer either face to face sessions in Shrewsbury, or a safe, calm and confidential online space for you to express yourself and explore your own personal challenges from the comfort of your own home, helping you to link thoughts, responses and behaviour patterns from your past and present so you can find your own way of making changes.
Choosing the right therapist can sometimes feel a bit like trying on clothes - sometimes you need to try a few different options before you find one are comfortable with!
I offer a 30 minute trial session for £10 where you can talk to me about what you need, find out how I work, and decide whether I am a good fit for you.
