Counselling sessions are a time for you and are driven by what you want to work on in the session, there is no judgement only support and care. I draw on a variety of different methods of working and will always tailor my way of working to best suit your needs.
I provide support to adults with a range of issues including bereavement, change, stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, work or personal issues.
I work online or over the phone, working with people both on a short or long term basis. Offering help to adults of any age or background. Counselling sessions are strictly confidential and professional. The frequency of sessions will depend upon the needs that you present.
I studied at Keele University, obtaining a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have also taken courses in CBT and Psychotherapy, and am continuously working on my professional development. I am a volunteer for Douglas MacMillan Hospice, working as a bereavement counsellor whilst also having a private online and over-the-phone practice.
As a member of the BACP, I work within their frame work and follow their code of ethics.
